Aaron works to build networks with numerous other professionals to bring additional value to his clients. He has accumulated vast experience with many industries and has designed effective risk management programs fundamental to all businesses. Over the past several years Aaron has specialized specifically in offering unique strategies to construction companies, in the areas of construction defect and risk transfer, which have produced many highly valued accomplishments and outcomes for his clients. Aaron’s offers have been so successful he is now training agents across the country in how to compete more effectively in the marketplace.

Kim Wicoff

Vice President / Customer Satisfaction

Kim is an Arizona native and grew up in Gilbert. She has been a professional in the insurance industry for the past 16 years. After 6 years of servicing a large book of commercial accounts, Kim was promoted to a leadership role in the commercial department. As her skills emerged in customer service and handling a variety of agency needs, she was promoted to General Manager. She now serves as Vice President and is part owner of Gilbert Insurance Group. Kim has extensive experience in customer service as well as agency operations. As Vice President Kim is in charge of customer satisfaction. She has been instrumental in designing and executing an evolving comprehensive client services program. Whether it is providing basic service requests or inventing and executing complex strategies, more than anything Kim is a specialist in helping people take care of their insurance concerns.

Danielle Hernandez

General Manager / Cannabis Director

Danielle is a New Mexico Native and has been an Arizona resident since 2004. Danielle has been an insurance professional for the last 17 years. After 10 years of working as an Account Manager/Account Executive, Danielle was promoted to Agency Manager, responsible for maintain the goals of the staff and agency. Consequently at the same time of her promotion to Agency Manager, Danielle took the opportunity to build out her own book of business from a production position and work within the Cannabis arena. She has since been a former Board Member of Arizona Cannabis Chamber of Commerce and currently serves as Committee Member of the Annual Education Symposium for The Medical Cannabis Research Advocacy Alliance and has been published in national Cannabis magazine as well as guest speaking roles on various podcasts.

Shane Opdahl

Marketing Manager

Shane is a North Dakota native and has been an Arizona resident since 2006. He has been an insurance professional for over 20 years starting his career in 1999 with Nationwide Insurance as a claims adjuster and eventually transitioning to commercial underwriting and territory management. In 2006 Shane opened up the state of Arizona for Secura Insurance and also opened the state for Midwest Family Insurance in 2012. Over his career Shane had the opportunity to work with many different agencies and underwrite thousands of commercial accounts. In 2017 Shane transitioned to the agency side with Gilbert Insurance Group as our Marketing Manager, but also is a Commercial Insurance Advisor to many of our clients. Shane has utilized his underwriting experience to work with our clients to create a superior identity for their businesses in the insurance market place. By using what we call a Business Identity Offer or BIO, Shane has been able to anticipate the concerns of underwriters, address them, and help create demand for your commercial account. This demand creates an auction and produces the best pricing and coverages the market will bear.

Kori Ramos

Kori is a former agency owner who achieved Championship in his first year in business. He has 12 years of insurance experience in all lines and specializes in first class portfolios and commercial construction. He has embraced The Gilbert Insurance Group’s orientation and philosophy of care. Which is strategic in its fundamental approach to our clients and insurance carriers. It is built on a foundation of Superior offers and Specialized customer service. He has the expertise and relationships with selected insurance companies to deliver a solid barrier of protection around your family and your possessions at affordable premiums.

Cecilia Fernandez Laker

Client Manager

Cecilia has over 20 years of Property and Casualty Insurance industry experience. Her current role is as Commercial Account Manager for both new and renewal business. She focuses on providing quality service to our client’s and partners. She has expertise in managing and negotiating insurance programs, guides our clients through their renewals, negotiates with our carrier partners and serves a mentor to both clients and staff. Cecilia’s diverse skill set comes from her experience working with high-profile clients, collaborating with global brokers and carriers on numerous types of risks such as Construction and Hospitality.
